GENERAL POLICIES

ESTABLISHMENT POLICIES:
- Any damage or defects caused to the rooms or common areas during the stay will be the responsibility of the guest causing it, and the repair will be at their expense.
- It is strictly forbidden to hold parties and cause disturbances by noise to other guests and neighbors and/or to have loud music, arguments, fights, shouting, slamming doors, etc.
- Guests must respect the peace and quiet of other guests and neighbors at all times.
- Smoking and/or the use of drugs of any kind (including tobacco, cannabis, hashish, vapes, etc.) is strictly prohibited throughout the entire property (rooms, balconies, common areas, etc.). Any guest found to be in violation will be penalized with a fine of €100 or more, depending on the circumstances, and will also be required to pay for additional cleaning services and/or compensation to other guests.
- It is against the law to cover the smoke detectors in the rooms. A penalty of €50 will be charged each time this occurs.
- In the event of a deep cleaning of the room due to poor hygiene, extreme disorder, tobacco, etc., the client will bear the relevant cleaning costs.
- Failure to respect the establishment's rules may result in a penalty.
- This establishment reserves the right of admission.
- Access to rooms and facilities is strictly prohibited to non-guests/non-registered persons.
- The establishment is not responsible for the guest's belongings.
- The cost per extra person is €40/day (low season) or €80/day (high season), in existing beds (if permitted). There are no extra beds of any kind, nor cots.
- Check-in starts at 3:00 PM. The current reception hours are from 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM.
- Guests must inform us of their arrival time in advance.
- Upon arrival, guests must present a valid identity document (passport or national identity document (EU)) and a valid credit or debit card as a guarantee.
- Payment for the stay must be made in full upon arrival.
- The tourist tax (€7.70/person/night) must be paid upon arrival. The tourist tax (Barcelona city tax) is not included in the room price.
- The latest allowed check-out time is 11:00.
- Any late check-out will incur an extra charge: (the client must always notify reception in advance)
Low Season (November 1 – March 31): High Season (April 1 – October 31):
Until 12:00 the cost is €10. Until 12:00 the cost is €20.
Until 13:00 the cost is €20. Until 13:00 the cost is €40.
After 13:00, full day rate applies! ( additional costs for detours!) (subject to availability)
- No pets allowed* (*any type of companion animal, comfort animal, or emotional support animal, other than a government-certified and accredited service animal). Additional costs apply in case of damage and for disinfection/cleaning/hair removal afterward.
- We have complaint forms available.
- Please note that all "Special Requests" are subject to availability and cannot always be guaranteed; and may also involve additional charges and/or supplements.
- No parcels are allowed (unless permission is requested and advance notice is given in writing, and they are small packages).
- Bicycles/scooters, etc. are not allowed to be stored/brought in the entire establishment.
- The establishment does not have a luggage storage service or lockers.
- The hostel has several floors (the reception is on the 4th floor).
- From the main entrance to the elevator, there are 8 marble steps (there is no ramp)
- The hostel does not offer food or beverage service of any kind.
- Being located in the center of Barcelona, in the busiest, most touristy and liveliest area of all Barcelona, we are surrounded by bars and restaurants, so it is not a quiet/quiet area.
- All guests must provide the information required by the authorities, and comply with national, local, and establishment regulations, rules, and laws.

◊◦◊ ! Invoices are issued automatically with the details of the first guest who registers online.
If you require an invoice in the name of a company or other entity, it is imperative to provide ALL the entity's details before check-out. Once the invoice has been issued, no modifications of any kind are permitted under any circumstances! All details must be provided before check-out (legal name, tax ID, full address, everything), not just the company name; otherwise, the invoice will show the company name mixed with the guest's information. All details must be complete, whether for the company or the guest; otherwise, they will be mixed up.
◊◦◊ ! Once the invoice has been issued, no modifications of any kind are allowed, under any circumstances.
CANCELLATION POLICIES:
FREE / REFUNDABLE CANCELLATION:
- There will be no penalty in case of cancellation/modification, as long as the booking is cancelled or modified 2 days (in low season (1/11 - 31/3)) or 5 days (in high season (1/4 - 31/10)) before the arrival date.
- After this period, any cancellation or modification will be penalized with a charge equal to the full amount of the first night.
- In case of not showing up on the day of arrival (no-show) the penalty will be 100% of the total amount of the reservation.
- If, once presented, the guest decides to shorten / modify / cancel their stay / reservation, the penalty will be 100% of the original reservation.
- The establishment reserves the right to pre-authorize the total amount of the reservation.
*Reservations for more than 2 rooms and/or for long stays are subject to special conditions and may also be subject to supplements.
NON-REFUNDABLE:
- If you cancel or modify your reservation, you will be charged the full amount of your stay. The full amount of the reservation will be charged at any time after booking.
Conditions for stays with children:
- Children of any age can be accommodated.
- Children's age: < 3 years. Children under 3 years old are not considered adults in terms of occupancy and do not pay any supplement.
- Children aged 3 and over pay the adult rate at this accommodation.
This property does not offer cribs or extra beds. We recommend using an external service where you can book/rent various related items.
